Our approach to privacy

Our website primarily provides information. As such, we do not directly collect personal or privacy sensitive data. Some optional features of our website may allow you to voluntarily submit information to us.

Data we collect: Analytics

We use simple, privacy-friendly analytics. Our analytics solution doesn't use any cookies (or other forms of storage), we do not collect your IP address, and we do not use any fingerprinting techniques to uniquely identify you.

We only collect generalized and anonymized analytics data, which includes the following:

  • Which pages are visited;
  • What types of devices and versions of browsers are used;
  • How far a page is scrolled down (scroll depth);
  • How long a page remains open (time on page);
  • Your timezone (and, by extension, what country you are likely in)

Data we collect: Server logs

When you visit our website, we will log all incoming web traffic (request log). This includes the following data:

  • Date and time;
  • IP address;
  • User agent (information about your device and internet browser);
  • Pages requested / visited;
  • Referring websites

We collect this technical data in log files. We only use these log files for the technical optimization of our websites and for the purpose of the security of our computer systems and networks.

Log files are routinely deleted when they are no longer deemed neccessary. Typically, they will be erased after 30 days.

Data we collect: Contact form

If you use the contact form on our website, we will ask you for your name and e-mail address. We will only use this data to process your request, and do not use it for any other purposes.

Please note: Your IP address will be collected when you submit the contact form. We do not use this data for any purpose other than to combat spam and abuse.

Cookies

When you visit our website, a session cookie may be stored in your browser. This is an essential cookie that enables the website to function correctly. We do not currently place any other cookies, nor through any other forms of storage.

Third party links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked websites.

Data security

Protecting the information you give us or that we receive about you is our priority. We take appropriate security measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Updates to this policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy from time to time to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.

In the event that we make material changes that restrict our users rights or obligations under this Privacy Policy, we will publish a clear notice in this section of this Privacy Policy that informs users when they are updated.
